For the past 30 years, Islander Properties has been the only firm to work exclusively on Don Pedro-Palm Island in the fields of real estate, property management, and rental management. Don Pedro has also been our home for the past 29 years. We have participated in almost every civic activity, ranging from being certified fire fighters to serving as board members of Palm Island Estates, or just fixing a jumbo pot of chili for the Island’s social events!

In 1980 we started the very first rentals on Don Pedro-Palm Island, and today we are the largest rental agent in Palm Island Estates. To keep us better in tune with our mainland community, we are members of the Englewood Area Board of Realtors and the Englewood Chamber of Commerce.

Our on-island office at Colony Don Pedro allows us quick and effective response to all of the needs of our rental guests. There you will find bicycle and golf cart rentals, daily newspapers, a large lending library, all this managed by our trained, professional staff. We are open 7 days a week and on call 24 hours a day for emergency needs. Our office staff consists of six, of which four of us reside on the island full-time. Each is trained professionally to meet the every need of our rental guests. Our rental program is completely computerized, which allows us at the click of a button to provide our owners current and precise information on their bookings, proceeds, and maintenance of their property. 

For the physical maintenance of each property, we have a support staff of full-time maintenance personnel. Through our construction business, we work closely with licensed and insured sub-contractors. Our in-house cleaning staff is trained by us personally to meticulously clean each home and ready it for the next guests. Several of our staff members have been with us for as long as 10 to 15 years. In addition, we have qualified service companies who provide us priority service and quantity pricing for such items as repairs to appliances, plumbing and electrical, roof leaks, air conditioning and heating, etc.
