Getting there is half the fun! Your bridge to Don Pedro- Palm Island is via a 70 ft. Island Car Ferry which runs non-stop, seven days a week. The journey across is a pleasant ten minute excursion, where you will leave the crowds and traffic behind, and first experience the flavor of the island. Enjoy the scenery, the water birds, or perhaps a playful dolphin. Or you may even choose to arrive in your own boat! Once on the Island you will find that the "locals" tend to park their cars and travel by way of golf carts, bicycles or on foot - a much more enjoyable way to take part in the ambiance of the Island. Little Gasparilla is boat access only. No Boat! No Problem - private water taxis are available.
